LONDON PART II

LONDON TAKE II:
Our time in London was definitely not worth documenting day-to-day. Trent worked Monday to Friday and when I wasn’t working I was Queen of Netflix. It was really just a time set aside for working and saving. But we do have some cool tips if you’re on your way there for a holiday, or to live. Plus some pics from our time there.
We spent our first three weeks living in a cool loft apartment near the Old Street tube station in Shoreditch. Our second week was spent living with our favourites, Liam and Matt in super fancy Pimlico. And, our last 4 weeks we spent living in Dalston with Trent's Aunty's, Husband's, Brother, Rod, his husband, Brett, their two kids, Lewis, 10 and Hanna, 2, and Brett's best friend, Amy.

LONDON TIPS:
THEATRE TICKETS: If you have the opportunity to be flexible with days and dates, buying tickets last minute is a really good way to get them cheap. We used lastminute.com. Also going on a weeknight will save you multiple smackerals.
CAMDEN: such a cool area, spend the day out here eating and shopping at the markets, people watching/ watching the boats go through the Locks.
HIGH TEA: I went to high tea at the Shangri-La at the Shard with my mum’s best friend and it was beautiful. If you can go on a clear day and there are the most amazing views over London. The food was so nice and kept coming until we had to roll ourselves out the door. All the teas on offer were so yummy with some really unique flavours. I know there’s hundreds of places you can go for high tea all through London but I would highly recommend here!
BOX PARK, SHOREDITCH: Box Park is almost like a mini shopping centre. Each store is within a shipping container making products limited however still very cool. There are also some great restaurants on the upper level just be wary, prices can be OTT for what you’re getting, we were charged 90pounds for 4 burgers and 4 drinks, not so good.
FLOWER MARKETS, BETHNAL GREEN/ SHOREDITCH: If you need a gift for someone or just want to brighten up your own place these flower markets are amazing! So many beautiful types to choose from at very reasonable prices! However, all this beauty leads to insane crowds to the point where you are practically at a stand-still. Wouldn’t recommend just coming here to look around.
BROADWAY MARKETS: We lived close to Broadway Markets so visited them a couple of weekends while we were living in Dalston. There’s so much amazing food on offer and some cool clothes as well. Would definitely recommend a visit if you’re in the area.
STRATFORD, WESTFIELD: While Oxford St is a great experience, it is overwhelming and the crowd doesn’t rest. Westfield at Stratford is a good alternative, as it seems to have a bit more on offer and feels much less crowded… Unless you go on a rainy Saturday, it's a mess on a rainy Saturday.

SPITTALFIELDS MARKETS: Spittalfields Markets are located right near Liverpool Street Station and offer a range of different cuisines and some cool fashion. There’s a sunglasses stall particularly worth visiting, heaps of cool styles for as little as 5pounds. Trent had Ethiopian and highly recommends.
TED'S: Ted's Grooming Rooms are located throughout London. Trent visited the one off Oxford Street and got a haircut, beard trim/ shape, threading etc plus as many drinks as he could consume in the time he was there for 42pounds. They also have some amazing original cocktails!
